This article talks about a lot of topics such as how long a untouched blog last, types of blogs, and the community of a blogsphere. No one ever knows what happens on a the blogging world like where blogs go and who are considered real bloggers or even the difference blogging forms.
I honestly learned a lot of new stuff about blogging while reading this article like how blogs last up to 4 months max if untouched. It gave a lot of great information about the blogging community as well, like how a “Typical Blog” is now considered a form of a diary blog type. Having a “Typical Blog” allows you to express your own feelings towards something, really this is all about you and what your thoughts maybe be on any topic. Therefore others can’t really say anything about what you post because it’s your own personal thoughts. On the other side there’s a “Community Blog” this blog is way different compared to the other, it’s where you get into more over a discussion with others and able to find facts or research stuff. This type of blog can have like a political feel to it, where you can go to learn more about something and also see agreements on it. Reading this article I now feel like I better understand this whole blogging thing and what it is and how it works as a whole. As a first time blogger I thought basically you just write about yourself or a certain topic and there that’s your blog. I had no clue that there were all these other kinds of blogs that go on daily from personal to political. As I was reading I stopped to look up famous blogger to see what the community actually looked like and I honestly don’t remember the bloggers name, but it had a lot of impact on other people’s life. In th comment section there was just a large amount of great comments towards the blogger adn how they feel there blogs helped them in life. Of course I don’t think my blog will get that far because I might end up forgetting about it but i’m sure i’ll eventually stumble upon a blogger website on day and get the same impact as these other people feel.
As I first read this article I was very uninterested, it seemed very boring and had lack of good information. As I thought of course, I could barely understand what they were trying to get at from the start. I had to re-read the article a couple times before actually understanding it. But it eventually added up and gave good information that made me curious on how much more there was.
