The Mechanical Bride Notes

This is the summary of his article, It is on it’s technical and mechanical side that the front page is linked to techniques of modern science and art. The newspaper is the visual technique of a Picasso art work, but the literary technique of James Joyce. They have provided new facts about the world, new intelligibility, and new insights into the universal fabric, meaning the hence forth this planet is a single city. Far from  making for irrationalism intolerable for the intelligent person. They demand a much higher level of personal and social integrity and greater exertions of intelligence. The past is made immediately available as a working mode for present political experiment. Cultural patterns are unrelated to another, but abruptly over layered in cubist/Picasso style. The huge landscape of the human family which is achieved by setting side by side disconnected items from China to Peru presents a daily image of complexity and similarity. Certain habits of the mind have led to a natural exaggeration about the value or necessity of correct views. Conditioned this way people have taught to accepted the opinions and attitudes of the press.
