Do you need Supplements to workout?

When it comes to working out people have never heard of the term “Supplements”, and others have heard of it but just rather to be fully natural when it comes to working out. After reading the blog “Supplements- Necessary or Not?” by blogger The Fitness Writer, I 100% agree with his thought on supplements such as pre-workout, protein powder, and creatine. Supplements aren’t really for everyone, some might find them useless and others feel more confident in there workout if having them. If you are looking to gain weight, there are many different protein supplements that will help you gain weight faster rather that just force feeding yourself. But not all proteins work for everyone, you must do research to get more detail about a certain protein.

Should I take pre-workout?

Pre-workout is basically like drinking coffee or a energy drink, it gives you that extra energy and hypes you up. If you are under 18 years old, I strongly believe you SHOULD NOT drink pre-workout, because as teenagers you already have that hyper energy in your system. Therefore adding that extra amount can maybe cause health problems and prevent you from getting a full sleep at night. This is coming for a personal experience also, I tried pre-workout when I was 17 years old and could not sleep at night. I had to much energy in my system even after having a whole hour workout. But If you are over the age and don’t always have that full energy to work out, you can take pre-workout, just do research on the certain brand you are deciding on buying and make sure your body won’t have a bad effect to it.

Do I need A Protein Supplement?

Protein supplements can either be a advantage or a disadvantage, because if you don’t get the right type you will see different results than you plan for. If you plan on being fit, then buying a supplement to get fit or tone will be best for you. If wanting to gain weight than a mass gainer is your best option. There is also a downside on the Mass Gainer, If you get the Mass Gainer you have to eat on the of drinking the shake or you wont see any results. Also many people don’t do core workouts when drinking a Mass Gainer and start to see a little belly, on that situation you have to do core to train your body to get used to the new process.

At the end it’s really up to you if you want a supplement like I said at the beginning, supplements aren’t for everyone and that’s okay. You will eventually see the same results as if you did.
