As week 15 has arrived, we were all assigned two classmates blogs to tour for the week. As many of you may know lately, I have been blogging on the topic of Weight Gaining and my journey with it. Well just happens to be that one of the classmates I was assigned was Martha Blogs, who blogs about Weight Loss and her journey. Which I found really fascinating because we have the same topic of working out but with just different results.
As I clicked on Martha’s Blog, I was brought to her home page where on the left side you see her most recent blog which below is followed by older blogs. On the right side you see all the Blogs that she is following, such as classmates, friends, and even blogs that relate to her final project topic. Week by week she introduces a different way you can control your weight, here she reads either another blog or article and connects it to herself, topics from Creating Healthy Habits to Losing Weight and Keeping it off.
Not only does she blog about the different ways of Losing weight, but what is very eye opening is that every week, she gives her reflection on how her weight loss journey is going. She writes about how she has been controlling her life in a healthy way such as the beneficial outcomes that are coming along with this journey and the proper ways she is doing so. For example, her blog on December 2, 2018 was “Week three Reflection Weight Loss Journey”, here she wrote “A lot of what we eat tends to play a HUGE part of our well-being. If people are putting chemicals into the animals, we consume, then we are also being affected by those chemicals. With that being said, I am also trying to decrease my meat consumption. No, I am not going vegetarian, I want to eat cleaner. My groceries consisted more of fruits and vegetables, minimal pasta and meat, and dairy-free yogurt. I like snacks, so I also invested in Triscuit Rosemary and Olive Oil crackers. I remember learning somewhere olive oil helps fill you up faster and longer, which is my goal.” Which I believe can help others like me, by motivating others to not only practice this lifestyle by also helping other feel confident in themselves just as Martha is, by selecting the right foods for our bodies.
If you plan on creating a journey on weight loss, I take a look at Martha’s Blogs, her blogs are very inspirational and can help you reach you goal you would like to set, as you read more of her blogs you can practically picture yourself in the path she is taking week by week.
