Now here for my second blog tour, we are taking a look at Lauren’s Blog. In the past few weeks Lauren has been blogging about worldwide problems and her opinions on them. As someone that doesn’t know much about these life changing problems that go on around us, it’s great to be able learn new stuff and see the world from their point of view.
First Lauren introduces the topic of which see will be talking about for the week, she follows it up with what is it and her opinion on it. Her most recent blog was on Abortion, sadly before reading Lauren’s Blog I knew nothing more about abortion than just the basics of it. After reading her blog called “What is Abortion”, I learned much more such as, how people assume it’s the “east way out”, but in reality it’s very painful for women in that situation. Depending on what she decides, which will be with her for the rest of her life. Also, how women are judged on their unplanned pregnancy for being irresponsible or not using birth control, but half of unintended pregnancies occur on birth control. As a male, most of the time we don’t see all the problems and judgement happening to women in this situation. From someone that didn’t know much about abortion, after reading this article and Lauren’s opinion on Abortion (which was a different blog she posted) it really changed my thoughts on this topic.
Another blog that was very eye opening to me and I somewhat related to was “Depression”, here see explained what depression was, the risk factors, prevention, and causes. She explains how everyone’s experience with depression can be different, also that there’s 5 different types of depression, which was something I never knew. There’s so much information you can learn from these blog post, even information that can help you in the long run. Depression is very life threatening and can do so much to the human mind, Lauren listed the Basics of Depression which is “Depression affects how you feel, think, and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional or physical problems. You may have trouble doing normal day-to-day activities, and sometimes you may feel as if life isn’t worth living.” Which reminded me of a time when a friend of mind was going through this problem, even though I was always there to help him, he never fully wanted to explain to me what was wrong.
After looking at Lauren’s Blog not only did, I learn a lot new information about worldwide problems that occur daily around us, but she also changed my view on these topics as well. You can really learn a lot from these blogs from problems you may deal with or others you know deal with.
