As I began working out about 2 months ago, I was kinda confused on what to do and how to stick with my daily routines. At first I would go to the gym at different times through the whole week which led me to miss a couple days or cause me to have to shorten my workout time. I then created a workout plan sheet where I wrote the times and workout I was going to do. This workout sheet helped me stay on track and push myself to constantly keep going to the gym and to push through workout. My workout routine worked with my school schedule because after class it’d be around 1-2, which is the time I decided on. But on the food side, I looked all over the internet on food preps I could use to “gain weight” but none were very promising as I thought. I decided to just go off my own knowledge and just consume as much calories throughout the day as possible and to stay away from cardio. Week by week I really didn’t see any progress or anything, so I just kept with my routine and waited patiently. My first week of working out I weighed about 190 pounds and as of today I weigh 225 pounds, as I see progress now I believe my routine really helped me get to where I am now. If you really follow the routine you create yourself on a daily basis you are more likely to gain better results than others that workout whenever and whatever. A routine can be as simple as writing down your workout plan for each day, the times you plan on going to the gym, the calories your need to consume for the day, or a weight goal you set for your self at the end of the week or month.
